Now that I plan my workouts ahead of time, I thought I’d share my little workout journal. It has dates on the top, so I circle that dates for that week, and then just write everything out by day. On gym days, I try to incorporate a little bit of cardio with at least 3 of the weight machines, and then some body weight strength training at home. For the body weight strength training, I just write down what I feel like doing that day, and then go do it. I tried just writing out 1 or 2 workouts I could do, but they got boring quickly. Sometimes when I’m not feeling inspired, I’ll just do a backonpointe workout instead. The ab workout is what I did this morning.
I like to write little goals for the week at the bottom too. This weeks were: practice L pose, eat out less, and don’t skip a workout. So far so good!
I’ve really found it valuable to plan everything out so I don’t waste my time at the gym, or spend all morning before work cruising the internet.
